We love Havok Bike Park. It’s a great place to go for a day and have a blast pushing up and blasting down the tracks in there.
Contrary to what you may have seen on YouTube etc there is plenty in Havok Bike Park for riders who don’t really fancy launching themselves off the wooden ‘ski jump’!
The trails feature a wide range of man made and natural features throughout that will reward and challenge any rider. It’s by no means you typical cookie-cutter forestry trail centre but neither is it a slutchy mudbath.
Currently the park features two downhill trails, graded Red and Black, and three Orange graded Freeride trails. Even the Freeride area has some easier features if that’s the sort of riding you want to practice.
It is a ‘push up’ venue ie. there’s no uplift shuttle service.
Havok has a dedicated trail building team that are passionate about the future of the park, aiming to grow and expand the facility and bring more trails in the future.

MEDUSA: Red downhill trail
Medusa, named for its many twists, turns and berms is a red graded downhill trail.
THE BEAST: Black downhill trail
Named after the Beast of Bernshaw that once roamed the woodland that is now Havok Bike Park, The Beast is a natural, rooty and rutted black downhill trail.
VALHALLA: ☠☠☠ difficulty freeride trail
Valhalla, the biggest and most extreme freeride trail on the hill boasts the huge Havok gap that you will have likely seen in many pictures and videos. You really do need to bring your big boy (or girl) pants on to hit this one and it’s only opened for the more experienced riders.
SOVNGARDE: ☠☠ difficulty freeride trail
Sovngarde is our most popular and longest freeride trail with a wealth of features. A favourite with the big hitter riders who aren’t quite up to the level of Valhalla yet.
THE ENTICER: ☠ difficulty freeride trail
The Enticer, the easier of our three freeride trails designed to entice riders over to the freeride side to advance their skills.
Havok at Grip
We’re pleased to say that the Havok Bike park team will also be attending at Northern Grip. They’ll have a stand in the event village with all sorts of offers, merchandise, free stickers (STICKERS!) and hopefully some suitably bonkers GoPro vids on show.
