Do you want to sample the future now? Get yourself booked in for a ride on a Geometron G16. Progressive doesn’t even begin to describe these machines!
Whilst many bike manufacturers claim to be making longer, lower and slacker bikes, in reality most of them are only taking timid baby steps towards the brave new world of mountain bike geometry.
And then there’s Geometron.
Check out these numbers…
The Mojo Special Edition Geometron G16 is the demo bike of choice for this year’s Northern Grip expo.
155-175mm rear wheel travel delivered via classic 4-bar linkage layout.
Wheel size? Whatever you want! 27.5in or 29in. You can even run 29in up front and 27.5in at the rear (and in our opinion you should try just that).
How to book a demo bike
Geometron will be bringing S, M, L and XL size G16s capable of 29, 27.5 or 29+27.5 ‘hybrid’.
You can try which ever configuration (or multiple configurations) you like.
The bikes are all with the lovely new EXT coil shocks too.
Fork are the all new RockShox Lyriks and all bikes will be set up for pre-registered riders to get a nice balance and feel.
So yes, to get the best demo experience possible you will need to email firstname.lastname@example.org with your height and weight and take it from there.
Bonus fork geekery
All the Geometron G16’s suspension forks will have the modern shorter offset option (37mm for 27.5in forks and 42mm for 29in forks).
Mojo/Geometron will also be bringing triple-clamp Fox 40 forks with the adjustable offset crowns so people can also see what the new dual crown Fox 36 kit will look and work like.
