What was your first mountain bike?
Emmelle Cougar 15 terrible thing but it got me interested in mtb back in about 1988.
Music. What is your favourite album or artist?
Ben Folds, don’t really have a favourite album but I think The Yamaha Years by John Shuttleworth would feature strongly. Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Audio Slave, Presidents of the USA…
What was the best gig you’ve been to?
Presidents of the USA.
What’s your current tipple of choice?
Beer and tea. I’ve always been a bit of a fan of Bank Top brewery in Bolton.
What bikes do you ride most at the moment?
All City Electric Queen, Identiti Mettle.
What are you looking for to at this year’s Northern Grip?
Relaxed family MTB fun, get more people into the sport and get people out of their cars.
What is your favourite trail around Rossendale?
Favourite trail would be the descent or climb into Cowpe from Cragg Quarry.
What else, besides bikes, are you interested in?
Nothing… ha ha. Family, snowboarding, and generally being a rad dad.
